We’ll be honest, we don’t really remember our 21st birthday or any of the presents we got although we do remember splurging at the Chinese Buffet that evening and getting a Coke instead of sticking to water like we usually do.

In that same spirit, Soulja Boy treated himself to a Gulfstream G5 jet to celebrate his 21st birthday yesterday. Now we all know how boring those private jets are with the factory settings, so the rapper’s management has confirmed to TMZ that Soulja Boy added $20 million in upgrades to the base price of $35 million.

How exactly do you spend $55 million on a jet? Well apparently in addition to being able to fly through the air the machine also has twelve custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, four liquor bars, a special travertine tiled floor and Brazilian hardwood cabinets. We’re not sure what those last things are but we imagine that they’re both pretty expensive.

Soulja Boy is also reportedly replacing the standard bathroom with a luxurious one and giving the plane a custom paint job that will prominently feature his logo. If you want to talk to him tonight about the finer aspects of travertine tiles, the rapper reportedly spending $300,000 to throw himself at a Miami nightclub that Dwight Howard, Bow Wow and Sean Kingston are all expected to attend.

Let’s check out the video for Soulja Boy’s hit song “Crank That (Soulja Boy),” which probably paid for most of this jet. In the meantime we can’t wait to see what this dude does to celebrate his 30th birthday. Speaking of which, does anyone know how much an aircraft carrier costs these days?
