    Scarred, American Power Metal band was formed by guitarist John Toscano. John's vision of Scarred was to create a new power metal sound combining influences of metal masters such as Iron Maiden and Judas Priest and the newer power edge of bands like Nevermore and Iced Earth. In 2009 Scarred added Singer Eric Claro and Bassist Ray Solorio to the line up. The two new additions long with long time Drummer Andy Salas and Guitarist John Toscano reignited the Scarred fever. While the signature Scarred style of John's complex riffs and Andy's wicked rolls and monstrous double bass are still present; Eric's melodic vocals and screams from hell along with Ray's vicious attack and lightning fast fingers on the bass add a new beastly dimension to the Scarred sound. 2009 also brought the release of their EP Haunting Memories and rave reviews. Walter Scheurer from All Access Magazine said: 'Thank you, for with "Haunting Memories" Scarred has tendered an extremely profound piece of shiny, valuable Metal!' Dark Emperor from Masquerade Webzine said: Musically, these 4 songs clocking around 24 minutes are very well written and fresh enough to not call this band another clone-band. The band toured the Mid West and West Coast in 2010. Their tour stops include, Vinnie Paul & Dimebag Darrell's Rock Dogs, Fort Worth, TX; Pontoon Beach, Il Metal Festival; The Key Club, Hollywood, CA; The Galaxy Theater, Santa Ana; Dave Navarro's Black Door, Las Vegas NV; Boomers Las Vegas, NV and more. Since the inception of Scarred, the band has enjoyed sharing the stage with all time metal greats such as W.A.S.P, Nevermore, Armored Saint, Steel Attack, Primal Fear, Into Eternity, Overkill, Sonata Arctica, Hammerfall, Helloween, Metal Church, Y&T, Exodus, Dokken, and Death Angel. 2011 is set to be the year of Scarred. The band is gearing up to hit the studio again while continuing to tour.     Hello friends ~

    My heart and prayers go out to all of the victims of yesterday's tragedy... such a sad event.

    This is a poem I wrote and I think it's so very true, you just don't know what tomorrow will bring...

    DON'T WAIT


    Don't wait for tomorrow, what can be said today
    The chance to share it may not come your way.
    We don't know what tomorrow will bring
    So let your love flow like a river in Spring.

    Don't save the good dishes for one special day
    That day may not come as your life slips away.
    Don't keep the love held inside of your heart
    Speak with tenderness that you never want to part.

    Each breath is a gift, and a moment in time
    To make someone smile, it won't cost a dime.
    So don't wait for tomorrow, say it today
    Before life and time have faded away.

    Give a hug, not a shrug
    Treat each human being with love.
    Share a smile, give a kiss
    Enjoy each day with happiness.
