About me:

Hey there, my name is Ben Conoley. I live in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. I spend my days working as a lawyer but almost every waking moment thinking and talking about music. I got into music journalism while going to university, first by writing for my college paper (The Brunswickan) and then by freelancing for a number of other publications, such as Alternative Press, Exclaim, Chart, and others. I also work as a News Editor for Punknews.org and love the site dearly.

My music interests lie mostly in independent music and punk rock. I love finding new bands and telling people about them. I proudly serve on the jury of the Polaris Music Prize.

I love finding great new music and I'm here to tell you about it.
